I passed on my first try last Tuesday in RTP.
Compared to pretty much any CXP practice lab the real test was not that
hard. I was
able to complete my lab by the lunch time. Following the advice of my
instructors I did not leave earlier and instead spent the rest of the
day double/triple checking
everything (not to mention the delicious southern food that they serve
for lunch). I have to thank all CyscoExperts instructors – Bacho, Mitch,
Naren, Tom and Bahram.
Thank you for doing such a great job – I enjoyed learning from the
best. I can honestly recommend these guys to any CCIE candidate. The
integrity and level of
professionalism of these people is second to none. With just about any
other company out there your only option would be to take a class or
even worse online class,
buy some overpriced books and that’s it – they could not care less
about you and your personal goals. I got much more than just a CCIE
number from these guys – I
have actually learned the technology and the necessary troubleshooting
skills to be successful in the real production environment. The only
CCIE lab training that they
offer is one-on-one practice labs (that’s right – one-on-one) – there
are no answers/proctor guides or anything like that. Doc CD – Practice
Lab – your own rack of
equipment (some good coffee too) and that’s it. You are forced to
research every topic that you are not familiar with and then discuss it
with the instructors. This way you
actually retain the information as well as practice finding the
necessary information on the Doc CD in a matter of seconds. Best of luck
to all CCIE candidates – I have
already started my CCIE Security preparation!
